'Not a question of SAPP not being patient'

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Petagas CLC Chairman, Dullie Marie said Putatan MP Datuk Dr Marcus Mojigoh's statement in Tuesday's local papers shows a desperate man trying to wriggle his way out of the proverbial hole of fairy tales and concocted stories.

"It was actually Mojigoh who claimed "as a person who knows about positional fixing and international boundaries as well as the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ)" that he can show Datuk Yong Teck Lee and Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan "anytime and anywhere".

"So, it was never a question of SAPP not being patient," he said in a statement here Wednesday.

Dullie said Yong had on May 4 asked for the State to publish an official map of Sabah showing its maritime boundaries.

"As for the implication, nobody ever said anything about Attorney-General. By the way, who is the current State Attorney-General?

As reported that since the State Cabinet was briefed twice, surely they have some opinion legal or otherwise.

"Can the State government disclose these matters? In addition, both SAPP's Sepanggar and Tawau MPs already filed in questions and motion for the coming Parliament session," he said.

Yong, he said had directed several questions to both the Federal and State Government and none of these questions had been furnished with any answer.

Instead, he said Mojigoh came out with statements trying to down play the seriousness of the matter.

"What Mojigoh seemed to be doing was trying to get Sabah people not to be overly concerned about the immense issue of national boundaries and Sabah interest.

"Who is he helping? Mojigoh said he has got heart for Sabah.

Then show us your heart," he said.

As a Sabah MP, Mojigoh instead of raising concern for Sabah's interest had tried to mislead the public that Block L and M are purely watered areas and different from landed areas, he said.
